Persoanl annoyances aside, most of us can agree that red nose of old trafford knew a thing or two about managing football clubs. He booted Beckham out because, roughly his words, "He thought he was bigger than the manager, so I kicked his heed in and told him to get to fuck."
I make him right....even if it's Sir David Spice, let alone what's his name who went to QPR.

It's not about that though is it. It's about people on here creating a fucking crisis when really it's just a differing opinion.

But the problem is he is paid to move the club forward, has been given a much improved squad and I think it is only right to expect him to use those players to their full potential.
Has not done that then? We are 7th in the league and a few points off top four. Where do you expect us to be? 4th? 3rd? 2nd? What are your expectations?
We are playing a better brand of football. We look much tighter and stronger away from home. We are now capable of getting something after going behind.
So, I ask again, have we, as a club, not moved forward this year?
Just because Sam has an opinion different to your's and plays one player and not another all of a sudden he is taking us backwards. That's not right. You can't just have a dig at the bloke because he plays a team that you disgaree with.
And you say he is doing what he likes to do and not what his scope of duties requires. What bollocks that is. Doesn't even mean anything.
A football manager is given free reign to do what they want to do. It's their way or no way. You can't have a bloody football manager being told what to do by the supporters.
His duties are to manage a group of players and pick a side that he believes will get the best results. And that is exactly what he is doing. And you cannot question that simply because he does not have the same opinion as you over certain players. Are you suggesting that Sam deliberately puts a side out to lose?
Football supporters have opinions. Managers have opinions. Playes have opinions. They can't all agree. It happens all the time at every clib all over the world. It's football. Why is it when it's us it's a major crisis.
I mean, seriously, for me you sum it up perfectly with "I happen to think it's not good enough and don't enjoy it in the least".
Well, let me tell you, if you haven't or are not enjoying this season then you may aswell pack it in mate. This season has been fucking brilliant and the most enjoyable for years. But, if that's how you feel, you go off and sulk and pick holes in everything and leave the enjoyment to the rest of us.

How much more impressive could he have been when he got his chance? I'm thinking Everton in particular. He really looked good when he came on, unlike that other shit chancer. How Allardyce can glibly say he wasn't good enough was just an utter piss take.

Whereas Carlton "Mr Loyalty" Cole is a great guy to have around the club, a right laugh on the training ground, and therefore deserves his opportunity to show us what he can do (after what seems like 20 years stinking the place out), instead of the vastly superior Zarate.
Allardyce is an utter cunt.

Say what you like about Sams dealing with Zarate but I make him right.
The bloke wanted a golden ticket in to the starting line up, Even QPR were dubious about taking him on due to fitness,
He went squealing to the press in November about leaving if he dont get 1st team place then denied ever saying it.
He has previous for being an utter prima...
Sam did the right thing there...

I have stuck up for Sam for too long but the Zarate thing has wound me up most. I like Nolan too but no way is he a top 6 player.
Therein lies your problem, we are not a top 6 club in squad, support or revenue let's not get above our stations!

Just in general macca and I mean even with my friends.
They weren't like they are now when we had cunts like Grant or Roeder in charge, which shows how much allardyce is hated. Things like the Zarate situation just incences people more, because doesn't take a football fan to see that Nolan is shit.
Christ the BML has always been full of spastics near where I sit regardless of the season and you can times it by 300% in a cup game where non season ticket holders attend.

Re: Problems

I probably fall into the Allardyce apologist thing, but there is one thing more than most, that I do have a problem with and that's how he sets us up at times..
The 'times' being, when we're playing away, a goal up, pretty much on top of things, and then either from instruction, or due to substitutions, we then try to defend what we've got, instead of carrying on as we were.
Last night was a fucking case in point - I don't care what our record at Goodison is, that's Everton teams of old, and there's plenty of other clubs, with equally poor records there.
Last night, we were one up, against a totally dog shit Everton performance, and they were there for the taking - instead, we sank back, further and further, and ended up trying to just protect what we had.
I thought it happened away in the Championship too often as well.

Grumps - you have clearly given up going over there if you think people talking about a player we've let go is anything like what happened during the bond scheme.
You make the same mistake a lot of people make. This site is nothing like what it's like over there. The support has been good this season so not quite sure what you're getting all uppety about.
I've been going since 1983 and there have always been people airing their views about players coming and going. That won't ever change. It's called having an opinion on something that you care about.

You have four forwards on the book - Valencia, Sakho, Carroll, Zarate, Cole.
You've had a good look at them on the pitch, in training and on a day-to-day basis.
Which do you play, which do you bench and which do you loan out or get rid of?
At the moment I am not happy with Allardyce's decisions here, and if you are, well that's up to you.

Grumpster- exactly.
There is also of course the fact that some really want to have a go at the manager for anything they can think of.
Even though he's obviously not without his faults, I think some of the criticism this season has been very harsh considering how it's actually gone thus far.

Glad you are so relaxed about it Russ of the BML - I'd love to have a boss like you and get paid what Allardyce earns just for my opinion. But the problem is he is paid to move the club forward, has been given a much improved squad and I think it is only right to expect him to use those players to their full potential.
At the moment though he is doing what he likes to do and not what his scope of duties requires. His decisions are annoying fans and players and are affecting match form. It also seems to happen every season with Allardyce and I happen to think it's not good enough and don't enjoy it in the least.

Re: Problems

Problem seems to lay with the supporters more, though allardyce doesn't help by fanning the flames with certain decisions.
With the exception of the older fans who saw glory, we've always been pretty average with the exception of a couple of season and haven't won anything in our lifetimes of actually going to games, yet in a season where we start well, are 7th in the league and got a draw away at one of our bogey teams in the cup, the supporters are up in arms the most vociferously I've seen since the bond scheme.
Christ there was less aggression in relegation seasons on here.
All quite amusing really.
